About Us

Process Integration Limited (PIL) provides state-of-the-art process improvement technologies for the oil, gas, petrochemical and chemical industries by identifying innovative improvements in operation and design. The company’s technology and know-how can effectively be leveraged to:

  • Increase energy efficiency
  • Decrease emissions
  • Improve yields
  • Increase capacity

By addressing these objectives, costs are lowered, emissions and energy consumption reduced - and profitablity maximised.

The combination of PIL’s specialist technical skills with its highly advanced, in-house developed process integration software products ensures that our clients benefit from the best possible engineering solutions and practises.

PIL has close links with the Centre for Process Integration at the University of Manchester, an institution that has been at the forefront of the development and implementation of conceptual process technology since the 1980s. Indeed, the field of conceptual chemical process design, as practiced in the petroleum, petrochemical and chemical industries, is dominated by the research output from the Centre. Many thousands of industrial projects have been executed successfully around the world based on its output – yielding technologies that PIL is now in the fortunate position of being able to commercialise.

As such, our company can draw on more than 30 years of experience and numerous collaborative projects with other industrial partners and academic institutions to research, develop and implement a wide range of conceptual process technologies worldwide.

PIL owns, controls and provides advanced process integration technologies that have been applied within the oil, gas, petroleum, petrochemical and chemical industries worldwide.
